Here I will write about the things I learn during Numeracy Block and Maths Investigations.

Uncle Jack's land Reflection

Today I found out that perimeter is the outside of the shape and area is the inside. I liked it because it was fun and a bit hard. I'm still unsure about how to work out the cheapest land.
I could teach someone else to make a 60m2 shape in the area and measure the perimeter and tell them that each shape needs to be fenced and each meter is $20 a meter and see how much it is all together.

Kandinsky

What I learned about 2d shapes is that there flat shapes and you can fold them symmetry that means you fold them different ways but look the same.

2D stands for two dimensional and 3D stands for three dimensional.

What I learned about Kandinsky's art is that he used 2d shapes allot in his art.

In my art of Kandinsky I used circle and semi circle , triangle, rectangles and swirly lines and zig-zag lines.What I know about congerent shapes is that they are the same size and the same shape a non congerent shape is when it is not the same shape and size.
