On the 23 of April we went to the ANZAC ceremony.
First we walked down to the train station to get onto a school train, only for kids, for the ANZAC square. When we arrived we sat down and some food. Then the Australian and New Zealand flags, were lowered and then raised. After a while the year 4 and 5 boys went to the Memorial Museum to have a looked at all the things the used to fight in war. Later on in the day the Brisbane Grammar school boy choir sang and while they were the RAN band played along with the singing. Then JJ and Victoria carried the wreath up, it took a long time. After a few mins they did the last post and the Australian and New Zealand Anthems. Then we went back onto the train and came back to school.
